Victorville Lower Back Pain Sufferers Find Relief
Recent statistics state that 80% of Americans will suffer from back pain at some point in life, and for some of those people, the pain goes on for years and severely disrupts their lives. The pain can occur anywhere in the back: the middle of the back, the upper back and neck, and even lower back pain that shoots down into the behind and legs, which is called sciatica. Our chiropractors, Dr. James Boehmer and Dr. Edward Korthuis have been helping Victorville back pain patients beat backaches since 1991 through a combination of non-invasive, drug-free treatments that help get the whole body back into healthy, pain-free condition.
Victorville Chiropractors Treat Back Pain Naturally
Our chiropractors have extensive experience helping Victorville back pain patients find long-lasting, natural relief. In fact, we have had many referrals from medical doctors, as well as medical doctors themselves come in for help! Our main goal is to find the root cause of the pain and treat it so that the pain does not return. We are particularly skilled at helping people suffering back and neck pain as a result of car accident injury, sports injury and personal injury mishaps. We also diagnose and treat people suffering from chronic lower back pain, herniated disc problems and sciatica.
Our first step in helping patients recover is a complete physical exam so that we can find out the reason for the back pain. The most common cause is a spinal misalignment, called a “subluxation”. When the spine is out of alignment, the vertebrae press unevenly on the discs between them and pinch nerves. Depending on where the misalignment is located, pain may occur in different areas of the back, or even cause neck pain. Misalignments could be caused by anything from poor posture habits or a car accident injury to personal or sports injuries. Strained muscles can also pull the spine out of alignment, causing pinched nerves.
After diagnosis, our chiropractors can recommend a course of treatment, which usually involves gentle, precise spinal adjustments. Spinal adjustments realign the spine, releasing pinched nerves, which often provides wonderful pain relief. Our chiropractors provide several different adjustment techniques. Our treatments are tailored to fit the exact needs of each patient; a lower back pain patient may need a different course of adjustments than someone with upper back aches, for instance.
We also offer non-surgical spinal decompression treatments. Spinal decompression uses a special, computer-guided table and the forces of gravity to gently stretch and release the spine several times during a session. These treatments are not only comfortable, they usually cause dramatic pain relief. It also stretches injured discs back into shape, spurring internal healing by suctioning fresh circulation into them. Decompression is especially helpful for people with herniated disc problems.
Back pain does not need to be a permanent part of your life! We can help you find long-lasting, natural relief.
